Bash utility

mkscript

`mkscript` creates executable Bash script skeletons in the current directory and optionally manages a personal global shortcut for each script. It is built for small day-to-day shell workflows on macOS and Linux.

Core behavior

What mkscript does

  • Create a new executable Bash file with #!/usr/bin/env bash
  • Add set -euo pipefail with -s or --strict
  • Create a personal shortcut with -g or --global
  • Link an existing script later with -l or --link
  • Check an existing shortcut with -c
  • Remove a shortcut with -r
